In the pursuit of my Olympic dream in Beach Volleyball I have learned a lot and have been forced to get creative in order to afford the cost of international travel for training and competition. In seeking sponsorships I came across multiple roadblocks that directed me back to one main problem, Beach Volleyball in Canada has no marketing platform! With no international coverage, no national tour and a few provincial events here and there it is difficult to fully package yourself as an athlete and expect people to support you. This forced me to change my focus, to build the brand of beach volleyball across Canada which in turn would increase marketing, sponsorship leverage and develop beach sporting communities across Canada. It is my vision to assist in exposing beach volleyball as one of the most entertaining and athletic sports in the world through playing, public speaking, creating a wealth of online resources and organizing future beach lifestyle events.

I am a long way off the end vision right now but this website aims to help! I will be doing my best to update videos documenting life on the FIVB tour as well as develop a database of instructional, fitness and nutritional videos to aid you in achieving your goals whether it be in the sand or not!

Beyond this website I am looking into improving on my first try of a Beach lifestyle event I hosted in 2008 in the Comox Valley. Branded as the “Next generation of live sporting entertainment” I want to bring this event to a larger demographic where I will combine the excitement of beach volleyball with DJ’s from around the world.
